I have recently started a new initiative to bring value to Hive's short form arenas like @leofinance's INLEO #threads and now I will be including @ecency 's #waves. I have another idea for @dbuzz so don't worry, I won't be leaving you guys out!

About my Trade Alerts

My new #tradealerts will be setup using my Logical Trading Indicator. I will be posting trade alerts that I set up for myself. I have been experimenting with some short term and longer term time frames, and I think I have settled on posting more swing trades on the 1HR time frame. These will be FREE to users of Threads and Waves! Hopefully you find value in my work and follow me and my efforts!

I am finding that many people on Hive are more of the longer term viewers so moving to swing trades makes more since. You also have less trades and bigger gains per trade. That way I am also not bombarding Threads and Waves with a bunch of alerts during the day.

Let's talk about how I set up my alerts...

How I set up my trade alerts using TradingView

Using my Logical Trading Indicator on TradingView, I set up alerts on various timeframes with various conditions. This alerts me to changes in the market and is a trigger for certain moves.

My main strategy is to set an alert for a bullish change in trend for when the price crosses above the basis line of the Bollinger Band. The next one I set is for a BUY signal. This is when a few things come together that indicates a bullish market movement.

Once those are set, I then set alerts for the Long Take Profit signal. This is an indication to a big positive move then some topping action. This signal fires when the price crosses into the upper (or lower if in a short) Bollinger band, then the next candle closes under it. This is when I usually take 50% of my trade off the table.

I then set another alert to for a bearish trend change. This is when the price then crosses below the Bollinger Band basis line and is when I close out of my trade. This is indicating a change in trend. Being that Hive is a long only asset, I only pay attention to long trades and sit in HBD otherwise.

With BTC, I pay attention to both long and short trade opportunities so I will be posting those as well when they fire. For now, I am only trading on the internal Hive exchange and now the Hive Keychain swap where I am trading HBD for SWAP.BTC and back. This has really opened up some great trading opportunities here on Hive!

Alerts on Threads and Waves

When these alerts hit, granted if I am in a position to post, I will post the alert to both INLEO Threads and Ecency Waves. This is also when I am looking to either start paying attention to the markets or make a move. I will be letting you know what I am doing for transparency purposes and to act as sort of a trade journal.
